ABOUT YOU:
As Key Account Manager You will be faced with a challenge to grow business in Austria and Switzerland. Main goal – growing sell out and increasing market shares in cooperation with Regional Marketing Manager. You will be expected to build a strong, direct relationship with key retailers in the region and maintain healthy, data driven operation with both revenue and profitability in mind. Please note, this is a fully remote position.
- Key responsibilities lie within excellent planning and market situation analysis. Tracking performance of both SteelSeries and competitive brands is a must. Daily tasks involve numerous data crunching exercises across several tools and platforms. Analytically oriented and work structured should be Your essential traits.

Core responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies/plans to achieve sales and profit according to the targets for the region.
- Build strong, precise and ambitious account plans with all defined “Key Accounts”, always with the focus on driving the accounts in line with SteelSeries strategies of building a healthy and sell-out driven business, growing in-house share with key customers.
- Implement and drive 3-6 month rolling promotional sales and marketing activity plans with all Key Accounts in the region.
- Conduct product trainings with key staff at Key Accounts, ensuring that SteelSeries remains the top of their minds.
- Build strong relationships with channel partners (retailers, E-tailers and distribution).
- Analyze and forecast sales and growth covering monthly, quarterly, and yearly numbers to ensure sales and profit goals are meet.
- Stay up to date with competitive activity and organize sales response to market changes.
- Develop a strong relationship with the Marketing Team in both the region and EMEA Services hub to ensure the coordination and implementation of local/regional marketing activities.
- Provide market feedback on trends, opportunities, products, sales and other relevant developments.
- Ability to work extended hours as business needs dictate and availability for frequent travel to regularly meet with key accounts, sales teams, other important stakeholders and to attend key tradeshows, fairs and events.
- Improve the understanding of the customers’ needs in the region and bring this knowledge to headquarters.
- The work consists of primarily tactical and operational responsibilities within channel management. However, you are expected to possess the strategic understanding of your market and how to develop it, also by having relevant account strategies in place.
- Administrative responsibilities to ensure achievement of sales revenue targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- Minimum 4-7 years’ proven experience from a similar role within Consumer Electronics (or Gaming).
- In depth proven understanding of P&L Management with focus on driving profitable growth.
- The candidate needs to have demonstrated profound experience in sales & trade marketing and proven understanding of the Consumer Gaming/Consumer Electronics channel in the region.
- Ability to use MS Excel on an intermediate level or higher.
- Understanding and ability to implement premium brand positioning across all sales channels.
- Hands on experience with ecommerce platforms and the digital marketing will be a major advantage.
- A passion for esports and gaming is a plus.
- English and German spoken and written fluently.
