Our Company is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making. Responsibilities:
Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, expenses, income, and assets, using accounting software and manual systems as required.
Bookkeeping: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide a comprehensive view of the organization's financial performance.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns, calculating taxes owed and identifying tax deductions and credits.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop budgets and financial forecasts, providing valuable insights to support business planning and decision-making.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and present meaningful insights to assist management in making informed financial decisions and optimizing financial performance.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations of financial transactions.
Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date with accounting principles, financial laws, and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
Financial Consultation: Provide financial advice and recommendations to management on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and financial risk management.
Systems Implementation: Participate in the implementation of accounting software and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees while complying with payroll tax regulations.
Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, calculate inventory costs, and conduct periodic inventory audits.
Financial Planning: Assist in financial planning and long-term investment strategies to achieve the organization's financial goals.
Risk Assessment: Identify financial risks and propose risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's financial stability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
