YOUR TEAM
The GIS AG is the B2B data unit for vehicle data of CARIAD. We are specialist for data-driven products and services. Thereby, we act as trusted partner and service provider for the VW Group. As an independent legal entity we are the linking pin between the Group brands as data owners, CARIAD as infrastructure developer and data users in Brands, Group and third parties.
Our B2B data marketplace is the gateway to CARIADs future vehicle cloud data and various data points in the Groups legacy systems. Cross-brand collaboration ensures common data product offering, one face to the customer, common legal framework and common technology & distribution approach and hereby leverages and protects the Group data business. We apply our expertise to represent the Volkswagen Group in national and international private/public partnerships shaping the future of European data economics and the outside perception of CARIAD and the Volkswagen Group as important stakeholder.
Focusing on regulatory required data sharing (GVO) and vehicle data we are at the heart of business critical and future data business models.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Overall responsibility for support & operations at GIS AG and oversee the end-to-end operational lifecycle of data products
- Steering and managing external providers
- Colloboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including customers, sales, product owners, product managers, developers and business stakeholders with the goal to provide comprehensive support concepts and to ensure smooth data product operations
- Defining, implementing and optimizing operational processes and best practices to ensure maximal data product performance, scalability, and reliability
- Planning and organizing the expansion of operations in new countries and markets according to the rollout roadmap of our data products
- Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess data product performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in data product operations and apply this knowledge in the company
- Identifiying opportunities for innovation and automation to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency and scalability
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong customer dedication, passion and hands-on attitude
- Proven experience (5+ years) in operating cloudbased data products, ideally in the (automotive) B2B sector in EU markets and/or abroad
- Deep understanding of data products and API Management
- Experience with agile development methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration, ideally in SAFe environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively
- Profound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Leadership capabilities and the ability to mentor and guide other team members
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality support and operations for data products
