An Account Manager – Events is responsible for the planning, design, production, promotion, overall co-ordination and profitability of an event. They delegate many of the tasks and then oversee and support those they delegated to. This is a creative position, sometimes allowing opportunities for testing new ideas and themes.
- Determine parameters, policies and procedures of events plan
- Design, program and produce events
- Account Lead Generation, develop new client portfolio to ensure profitability of the organization
- Conducts short- and long-term planning and management for events and sales
- Develops and recommend the budget, marketing plans, and objectives and manages within those approved plans.
- Maintains or exceeds budgeted sales and profits in all event areas
- Oversee the financial management of events
- Recommends, develops, and implements effective marketing plans for generating event revenues
- Evaluates each piece of event business to ensure business can be properly serviced.
- Develop a risk management plan
- Assembles creative and innovative event attractions based on internal capabilities or outsources to qualified vendors
- Trains, supervises, and works with event staff, to solicit and book banquet and catering functions, as well as the planning, merchandising and execution of the functions
- Build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives
- Administers all phases of the event department, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures
- Solicit event donors, sponsors and participation by merchants
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree Holder
- At least 7 years solid experience in managing corporate and promotional events
- Ability to farm for accounts to increase sales and revenue
- Marketing and promotional skills

- Financial management skills
- An out-going, people-oriented personality
- Fundraising experience an asset
- Knowledge of the local industry and area an asset

Salary: Php45,000.00 - Php65,000.00 per month
