About this role......
Project Delivery
- Work with the Project Team and Steering Group to clarify the full scope of the Project. This may involve working in conjunction with other BAs.
- Work with the Project Team to ensure all User Stories are accurately defined and scheduled in accordance with the overall plan.
- Provide day-to-day support for the Project Teams, ensuring that any clarification or additional documentation is provided in a timely fashion and does not impact the project plan.
- Ensure that required sign-offs are achieved in a timely manner to not impact the project plan.
- Provide the link between the development team and business representatives regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyse business objectives and align requirements captured to these business objectives
- Conduct feasibility, benchmark and competitive analysis studies
- Setup, structure and deliver a suite of high-quality BA documents including BRD, SOW, Product Backlog, User Stories, User Manual & Training and UAT Test Scenarios.
- Conduct user functional training on new systems implemented
- Define & review user test scenarios and perform & manage testing of processes in UAT
- Define, document and manage change on business and functional requirements
- Interview stakeholders and facilitate workshops and other requirements gathering meetings
- Contribute to and deliver considered, concise and relevant presentation to internal and external teams.
- Capture data elements, organise and model data to support or improve recommendations.
- Drive results and high levels of colleague satisfaction.
Team Working
- Work as part of the technical community within the company to align project deliverables, solutions and operations
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure all requirements gathering and analysis tasks are accurately planned within the overall agreed timeframes of the projects
- Provide regular and accurate reports of progress and any changes to the Project Manager and Technical leaders
- Contribute to regular Project Team meetings to ensure the correct tasks are being worked on and share key decisions required, risks identified and highlight any issues encountered

Knowledge, Skills and experience required
- At least 3 years Business Analysts experience of successful project implementation in a software or consulting environment
- Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications and User Stories for Information Systems for both user interface and backend / API driven processes.
- Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between.
- Knowledge and experience of agile methodology for project delivery.
- Experience of working across multiple delivery organisations practising distributed development in a global environment
- Experience of working multi-disciplined development teams, including external vendors and agencies providing services for projects.
- The ability to demonstrate through examples, the effective management of stakeholder relationships at all levels internally and externally
- Excellent written & spoken English & interpersonal communication
- Experience of projects in Loyalty and Benefits sectors is an advantage
- Performing scrum master or product owner tasks
- BSc degree
